Named after the joint course designer Fred G Hawtree who was a prolific course designer both in UK and Europe and designed many famous courses along with J H Taylor.
An uphill long penultimate Par 4. Keeping your drive to the right half of the fairway will avoid the bunker on the left at 210 yards from the tee. The second shot continues uphill with hidden ground in front of the green, so one more club may be needed.
